Building from Tanzania, outward

Life here

Grounded work, ground breaking market.

We are early enough that your work is visible on day one, and far enough along that thousands of people already depend on it.

01

Close to the celebration.

We are not building an abstract marketplace. Our team sits with photographers in Masaki, walks venues in Arusha and answers couples on WhatsApp at 9pm. The product is shaped by the season, not by a roadmap written in a vacuum.

A couple celebrating together
02

Ambitious about the craft.

Digital cards, guest lists, seating, payments, vendor storefronts. Each surface has to feel considered enough that a couple trusts it with the biggest day of their life. That bar is why the work here is genuinely hard.

Wedding rings
03

Powered by a small team.

Engineering, design, studio, operations and finance sit in one room. Decisions take hours, not quarters, and the person who spots the problem is usually the person who gets to fix it.

The OpusFesta team
Our mission

Make every celebration in Tanzania easy to plan and impossible to forget.

Our vision

One trusted place where couples, vendors and guests meet, from the first idea to the last dance.

The foundation

Care for the couple runs through every decision we make, in code, in copy and on the day itself.

How we operate

Who we are, what we hold to, and what that looks like on an ordinary Tuesday.

The north star

Obsessive craft

We sweat the details nobody asks about. A wedding happens once, so the product that carries it has to feel finished, calm and beautiful.

The engine

Built on the ground

We build for Dar es Salaam, Arusha and Zanzibar first. Mobile money, WhatsApp, patchy networks and real venues shape every decision.

The rigour

Ship, then sharpen

We put work in front of real couples and vendors quickly, listen hard, and keep refining until it earns its place.

Teams

Many crafts. One celebration.

You might build the product, make the film, run the venue or grow the partnership. The guest experience connects the work.

Explore open roles

Technology

The platform, infrastructure and tools behind every celebration.

Product & Design

Simple, beautiful experiences for couples, vendors and teams.

Operations

The people and systems that make event days work in the real world.

OpusStudio

Photography, video, content and creative production with a local point of view.

Growth & Partnerships

Bringing venues, vendors, brands and communities into the ecosystem.

Business & People

Finance, customer experience, people operations and the foundations for scale.

Our process

Clear from hello to offer.

The exact stages vary by role. We keep assessments relevant, communication direct and every final decision human.

  1. 01

    Application review

We assess your experience and answers against the role—not a generic keyword list.

  2. 02

    Introductory conversation

A focused conversation about the role, your story and the practical details.

  3. 03

    Role assessment

A proportionate exercise, portfolio review or working session when the role needs it.

  4. 04

    Team interview

Meet the people you would work with and explore how you make decisions.

  5. 05

    Final decision

We close the loop clearly, then move quickly into offer and onboarding.

Automated recommendations never make the final rejection decision.
